Job summary

Sea Mar Community Health Centers in Everson, WA is seeking a Phlebotomy Technician (MA-P) to perform phlebotomy, waived lab tests, EKGs, and spirometry to support patient diagnosis. Starting wage $21.30 per hour. Monday – Friday schedule; candidates must have WA MA-P certification.

The role emphasizes accurate specimen collection, testing, documentation, and strong patient care in a community health setting.

Qualifications

• Active WA State MA-P (Medical Assistant–Phlebotomist) certification required.
• High School Diploma/GED (or equivalent).
• Strong customer service and phlebotomy skills.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Must pass pre-hire competency test.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood draws; ensure proper specimen handling.
• Conduct EKGs and spirometry testing with proper calibration and documentation.
• Process specimens for reference labs and maintain QC/QA logs.
• Maintain inventory, equipment, and safe lab practices per CLIA, OSHA, and HIPAA.
• Communicate results and coordinate with providers and clinical staff.
