Qualifications

• High School Education/GED required.
• Associate/Technical degree or related experience preferred.
• Certified Phlebotomy Technician CPT I or CPT II or MLT preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Obtains blood specimens by venipuncture and finger sticks.
• Verifies specimen ID and prepares paperwork for testing.
• Distributes specimens to designated departments for diagnosis.
• Follows safety standards and maintains equipment.
• Coordinates with Lead Phlebotomist to run quality controls.
