Olympia Fields Hospital is seeking a Phlebotomy Technician II to perform skin puncture or venipuncture on patients of all ages for blood specimens in the Clinical Lab. This role reports to Laboratory Director/Manager/Supervisor and involves data entry, specimen processing, and maintaining equipment.

Qualified candidates will have a High School Diploma, BLS within 45 days, and 2+ years of lab experience preferred. Shift is full-time, days, in Olympia Fields, IL.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• BLS certification within 45 days of hire and kept current.
• Minimum of two years clinical laboratory experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform skin puncture or venipuncture on patients of all ages for blood specimens.
• Handle clerical duties including data entry, filing, and telephone communications.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage areas and equipment.
