Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year clinical lab experience preferred.
• State CPT I or II, if required in your state.
• Current BLS certification preferred on hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform clerical duties: data entry, filing, phone calls.
• Greet patients and visitors with courtesy and professionalism.
• Demonstrate knowledge of laboratory test terminology.
• Demonstrate phlebotomy knowledge and specimen collection skills.
• Process specimens for pathology, microbiology, hematology, and chemistry.
• Stock and order routine supplies; maintain clean storage areas.
• Assist in pathology with training and evaluation as assigned.
• Transcribe post-analytic results as needed.
