Job summary

Northwestern Medicine is hiring a Clinical Support Tech - Satellite to perform phlebotomy and specimen collection, processing, and reporting under supervision. The role may require work across multiple satellite locations, with on‑call rotation and holiday/weekend shifts.

The successful candidate will have phlebotomy experience or completion from an approved program, a high school diploma or equivalent, and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy experience or graduation from approved phlebotomy program.
• Hard copy of high school diploma or equivalency and/or transcripts as per CLIA guidelines.
• Basic computer knowledge required.

Responsibilities

• Performs waived and moderate complexity testing under supervision.
• Performs diagnostic testing, documents and reports results to provider.
• Performs quality control and maintains instruments.
• Conducts EKG procedures for outpatients and inpatients.
• Collaborates with main lab staff and other departments to ensure patient care.
