Job summary

The role requires a High School Diploma, six months of phlebotomy experience, and CPT certification is preferred. Evening shifts are available, with duties spanning specimen handling and clerical tasks within a clinical lab setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Six months of phlebotomy experience is required.
• Phlebotomy Certification (CPT) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Draw blood competently and expediently with minimal patient discomfort across age groups.
• Label all specimens in the presence of the patient.
• Operate basic laboratory equipment (centrifuges, printers, scanners, etc.).
• Communicate effectively with patients, clients, and staff.
• Perform clerical duties such as filing, report distribution, processing and faxing.
• Collect drug screens using the Chain of Custody Process if applicable.
