Job summary

Responsibilities

• Consults with providers/patients regarding phlebotomy service issues.
• Ensures quality and accuracy of work.
• Investigates problems with equipment, results, specimens, or workflow.
• May participate on teams or perform special projects/assignments.
• May train new employees, phlebotomy students, or other providers.
• Reviews test results for accuracy and timely correction of errors.
• Performs phlebotomy procedures, quality control and equipment maintenance.
