Job summary

Grifols, a global healthcare company, is seeking a Phlebotomist– We Train in Roanoke, VA. You will assist in donor suitability, build rapport with donors, monitor reactions and maintain donor confidentiality.

You will also operate automated plasmapheresis machines and ensure safety of donors and product. We require a High School diploma or GED, superior customer service, flexibility, and required state licensures where applicable.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Obtains required state licensures or certifications where applicable.
• Superior customer service standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist in determining the suitability of donors.
• Establish rapport with donors to ensure overall customer happiness while ensuring donor confidentiality.
• Respond to and assist with handling donor reactions.
• Monitors donor and equipment to ensure health of donors and quality of product.
• Sets up, disconnects, and operates the automated plasmapheresis machines.
• Disconnects and disposes of all contaminated disposable equipment.
