Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Union Hospital in Dover, OH is seeking a Phlebotomy Technician to join the Lab Clinical team. You will perform blood collection, labeling, and specimen transport in a fast-paced hospital setting.

This part-time, days shift (5:00am–1:00pm, Mon-Fri, no weekends) includes a sign-on bonus up to $1,250 and opportunities for professional development within the Cleveland Clinic Health System.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited phlebotomy program with clinical rotation/externship.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collection procedures and venipuncture.
• Verify orders and patient information prior to drawing blood.
• Label specimens and deliver to the proper processing area.
• Perform specimen processing, accessioning, centrifugation and packaging.
• Pickup and deliver blood and lab supplies as needed.
