Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Health System is seeking a Phlebotomy Tech to work across its Treasure Valley Labs, collecting specimens at nine centers. The role supports various locations with full-time, part-time, and PRN options, including evening and night differential.

Ideal candidates will have phlebotomy experience, strong patient communication skills, and hospital setting familiarity. Excellent teamwork and attention to detail are essential as you help deliver accurate laboratory results.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• Experience in phlebotomy in a hospital setting preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and hospital staff.

Responsibilities

• Collect blood samples and correctly identify patients.
• Transport specimens and perform related clerical and computer functions.
• Register, order, label, process and distribute specimens for lab testing.
• Perform data entry and serve as the central communications link for the laboratory.
