Job summary

Valley Health System is seeking a phlebotomist to perform phlebotomy on Outreach and hospital patients, plus accession and process specimens and register patients. Excellent customer service is required to respond to inquiries by phone, fax, or printer about test status, results, or specimen requirements.

The role requires a high school diploma, at least 1 year of phlebotomy experience, and ASCP certification preferred; strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy on Outreach and hospital patients.
• Accession and process specimens from inpatient and outreach clients; provide customer service via phone, fax, or printer regarding test status, results, or specimen requirements.
• Register outreach and/or in-house patients (insurance, dx codes, demographics).
