Job summary

Qualifications

• Certification from an accredited agency (NPA, ASCP, NHA) required.
• At least 1 year as a Clinical Laboratory Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients professionally and performs venipuncture or capillary puncture.
• Enter orders into LIS and ensure correct patient identity.
• Prepare specimens for transport and deliver to correct area.
• Operate HIS, LIS and EPIC systems proficiently.
• Maintain safe environment and apply universal precautions.
