Job summary

Sonora Quest Laboratories / Laboratory Sciences of Arizona in Prescott, AZ seeks a Phlebotomist to collect and process specimens across Hospital Facility, PSC, IOP or Mobile Diagnostic Services. The role may cover multiple locations and includes entering patient data and preparing samples for testing.

You will ensure patient identification, deliver specimens to the lab, maintain quality and HIPAA privacy, and support customer service across shifts.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification required by state regulations.
• Completion of a phlebotomy program or phlebotomy experience.
• Valid state driver’s license and eligibility for company auto insurance.
• Ability to travel to mobile phlebotomy facilities and multiple sites.
• 18+ years old; high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Collect and receive biological specimens into the department and enter data into the computer system.
• Prepare samples for analytical testing and distribute to appropriate areas.
• Maintain patient identification accuracy and specimen integrity.
• Assist with billing-related tasks and supply usage to control costs.
• Maintain HIPAA privacy and patient rights in all interactions.
