Job summary

Laboratory Sciences of Arizona is seeking an Evening shift Phlebotomist to collect and process specimens across hospital facilities, PSCs, and in-office sites. You will ensure proper labeling, data entry, and timely transport to the analytical area, following regulatory and company policies.

The role requires phlebotomy program completion, state certification, and flexibility to cover multiple locations, including on-call and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy program completion or equivalent experience.
• Phlebotomy certification per state regulations.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid state driver’s license where required.
• Flexibility to work multiple locations, weekends, holidays, and OT.
• DHS fingerprinting certification if required.
• Travel to mobile phlebotomy sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Collect and label patient specimens with correct demographics.
• Enter and verify patient data, tests requested, and collection time in the system.
• Prepare samples for analysis and transport to the proper area.
• Maintain accuracy, document processes, and follow HIPAA/privacy rules.
• Support billing and waste reduction while delivering courteous service.
