Job summary

White Plains Hospital Medical Center is seeking a Phlebotomist for the Armonk clinic (1296 North Ave). Per diem, Day shift, with hours typically 9 AM-5 PM and pay range $20.94–$31.41 per hour. Responsibilities include blood collection across age groups, EKGs, and accurate data entry in LIS/HIS systems.

The role requires at least a High School diploma or GED and phlebotomy exposure, with certification preferred. Per diem status and varying days per week apply.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• 1–3 years of phlebotomy experience preferred.
• 4–6 years experience in a healthcare environment preferred or required.
• ASPT CPT or NCCT phlebotomy certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain blood specimens using varied techniques for all age groups.
• Operate and navigate laboratory and hospital information systems.
• Maintain organized, clean supplies and a professional appearance.
• Cross-train in ATC, MLW, and accessioning tasks.
• Perform EKGs in presurgical testing when required.
• Attend staff meetings and complete annual competency requirements.
