Job summary

Summit Health is seeking a Phlebotomy Supervisor to oversee daily operations of a team in our clinic labs. You will manage staff scheduling, training, and ensure all blood draws and specimen collections meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

You will perform phlebotomy as needed, handle specimen processing, order entry, and support multiple lab locations. Candidates should have at least three years of phlebotomy experience, a valid NHA Phlebotomy Certification, and proven leadership in

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of three years phlebotomy experience.
• Phlebotomy Technician Certification (NHA) required.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and laboratory requirements.
• Strong leadership and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection following standards of practice.
• Train and assess competency of new hires and staff.
• Enter orders and use the Laboratory Information System for tracking.
• Ensure QA, safety, and regulatory compliance in all procedures.
• Travel to satellite locations as needed.
