Labcorp in Conway, SC is seeking a Phlebotomy Supervisor to lead a team of phlebotomists in Patient Service Centers and client offices. You will oversee patient flow, scheduling, and ensure accurate specimen collection while maintaining high service standards.

LabCorp is seeking a Phlebotomy Supervisor to join our team in Conway, SC.

Work Schedule

Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 7:00pm with possible weekend calls depending on client needs.

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of phlebotomists working in Patient Service Centers and/or physician's offices
• Manage patient flow, wait times, inventory levels and information logs
• Monitor monthly productivity and report any deviations as necessary
• Coordinate phlebotomists' schedules through resourceful and creative thinking
• Perform operational duties such as payroll, monthly schedules and performance appraisals
• Partner with Human Resources regarding employee relations issues and disciplinary actions
• Hire and train phlebotomists to fill any open positions
• Communicate effectively to internal and external customers including patients, client office staff, sales team, logistics and senior management
• Provide exceptional customer service to all patients and clients
• Assist in the set-up of new Patient Service Centers or Client Offices
• Provide resolution of any patient or client issues
• Perform, collect and prepare specimens when needed
• Travel to additional sites as necessary

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3 years or more relevant experience as a phlebotomist
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a leadership position

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's degree
• Experience with scheduling, inventory management, and team coordination

Additional Job Standards

• At least 21 years old and have a Valid Driver's License and good driving record
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision
• Reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
