Job summary
Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Polson, MT is seeking a Lab Aide I to perform phlebotomy, specimen processing, and basic client service tasks. You will collect blood samples and ensure proper labeling, with competency milestones after 3 months for phlebotomy and after 3 months for specimen processing.
The role also covers requisition entry and filing, with a competency after 1 year for basic client service. The job is Per-Diem with a Night shift.
Qualifications
- Phlebotomy certificate upon hire.
- Less than one year experience as a phlebotomist or completion of a Phlebotomy program.
Responsibilities
- Obtain blood samples from patients following policy and timing.
- Process specimens with correct labeling and policy adherence.
- Handle requisition entry, checks, and filing as part of basic client service.
