Job summary

Regional One Health in Memphis, TN is seeking a Part Time Flex Lab Liaison/Phlebotomy Technician to obtain and prepare specimens, perform screening tests, and support multiple departments. The role requires bedside collection, adherence to safety protocols, and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities include proper specimen labeling, transport to labs, and ongoing training to maintain clinical competency while covering nights, weekends, and holidays as needed to ensure continuous laboratory

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an approved Lab Liaison Technician or Phlebotomy Technician training program required.
• CPR or BCLS certification within 60 days required.
• Experience with neonate, infant, adolescent, adult and geriatric populations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and prepare specimens and perform tests per department policies and safety standards.
• Perform venous, capillary, puncture and micro-sticks using proper technique.
• Visit patients’ bedside to collect blood specimens.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA/compliance policies.
• Provide support to nursing and laboratory departments as needed.
