Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in the San Antonio, TX area. The role involves blood collection by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages, specimen handling, and data entry in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Participants should have a high school diploma and a phlebotomy certification or training; one year of phlebotomy experience is preferred. This on-site position requires travel to additional sites as needed and a strong commitment to customer service.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training preferred.
• 1 year or more phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed; reliable transportation required.
