Job summary

IVIRMA through Boston IVF Springfield is seeking a Phlebotomist for a full-time role. The position involves patient phlebotomy and specimen processing, handling samples for reference labs, and ensuring timely results. The schedule is mornings 6:30am-12:30pm with alternating Saturdays 6:30am-10:30am.

Requires at least 2 years' experience; certification is preferred but not required. Candidates should emphasize attention to detail and customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience.
• Certification is preferred but not a requirement.
• Technical expertise along with good customer service is very important.
• Attention to detail a must.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient phlebotomy and specimen processing
• Processing samples to send to reference labs
• Responsible for pending results
• Adhere to phlebotomy procedures and lab services manuals
• Adhere to requirements of Safety Procedures
• Maintain cleanliness of drawing area and stock supplies in phlebotomy lab
• Flu vaccination required
