Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a dedicated laboratory professional for the 60121 WI ACL Laboratories in Sheboygan County. The role involves venipuncture, specimen handling, and basic testing under CLIA guidelines, with emphasis on accurate result entry and patient care coordination.

You will join a team performing diverse duties across collection, processing, and reporting, with daily 40-hour shifts, and a 1-in-5 weekend rotation. The position supports growth in a comprehensive health system.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates knowledge and experience in laboratory functions.
• Basic computer skills including experience using computer software applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs venipuncture and collects specimens from patients of all ages.
• Receives, sorts, and tracks lab specimens; processes samples for testing.
• Performs limited CLIA-compliant testing and data entry of results.
• Supports histology/cytology workflows and related specimen handling.
• Assists in transfusion department and performs routine clerical duties.
