Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture, capillary puncture, PIVO, and throat swab collections across patient types including Outpatient, Emergency Department, Inpatient and newborns.
• Adhere to personal protective equipment requirements and laboratory safety standards.
• Communicate procedures clearly to patients and family members with empathy.
• Participate in registrations, CODE response teams, training as a clinical coach or preceptor, and quality assurance processes.
• Handle waived testing and participate in continuous improvement projects.
