Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomy Site Coordinator in Frederick, MD, with work hours Monday–Friday 8:00am–4:30pm and occasional Saturdays. You will oversee patient flow, collect venipuncture specimens, and ensure accurate data entry and billing support.

A high school diploma and phlebotomy experience are required; certification is preferred. Candidates should demonstrate strong communication, reliability, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomy Site Coordinator to join our team in Frederick, MD. Work Schedule: Monday- Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm; Saturdays as assigned (must be flexible).

Job Responsibilities:

• Observe and report any performance, compliance or staffing related issues to supervisors
• Manage and monitor patient flow, wait times, inventory levels and information logs
• Monitor monthly productivity reports and report any deviations as necessary
• Address any customer service-related issues in a prompt and respectful manner
• Promote teamwork, cohesiveness and effective communication among coworkers
• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of experience as a phlebotomist

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3 years or more of phlebotomy experience
• 6 months of leadership experience

Additional Job Standards:

• In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency
• In depth knowledge of phlebotomy duties, responsibilities and techniques
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision
• Reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test

Pay Range: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour

Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan. Employees who are regularly scheduled to work a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all the foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO. For more detailed information, please.
