Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy duties for blood collection using skin puncture and venipuncture.
• Prepare specimens for testing and deliver to laboratory departments.
• Maintain accurate medical records of specimens and patient identification.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and biohazard policies.
• Handle specimen accessioning in the laboratory computer system.
• Follow hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
