A leading healthcare company is seeking a Phlebotomist III Float to represent our commitment to patient care. This role requires a skilled professional to draw blood samples, support various healthcare locations, and ensure processes are executed with excellence. The Phlebotomist III- Float represents the face of our company to patients who come to CLIENT, both as part of their health routine or for insights into life-defining health decisions. The Phlebotomist III- Float draws quality blood samples from patients and prepares those specimens for lab testing while following established practices and procedures.
The Phlebotomist III- Float has direct contact with patients and creates an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures to patients and drawing blood specimens in a skillful, safe, and accurate manner. This role is responsible for providing coverage at multiple locations and roles, ensuring that daily activities of the Patient Service Center/Mobile/Long Term Care/In-Office Phlebotomy are completed accurately and on time.
The Phlebotomist III- Float demonstrates leadership behaviors, focusing on process excellence and confidentiality. Successful applicants may work in a doctor's office, patient service center, house call environment, long-term care, or as dictated by business needs. They may also lead on-site staff, act as a coach or mentor, and provide onboarding for new employees and clients.
This position may involve working with high-complexity or high-volume practices requiring outstanding phlebotomy skills and excellent customer-facing communication skills, including collaboration with Sales, Laboratory Testing Services, IT, Billing, and Logistics. The ability to handle multiple priorities in a high-volume setting is essential.
