A leading healthcare provider is seeking a Phlebotomist III- Float to interact directly with patients, performing blood draws skillfully and ensuring the highest quality care. This role requires strong leadership, as well as extensive experience in phlebotomy. The Phlebotomist III- Float is a key representative of our company, interacting directly with patients who come to CLIENT for routine health checks or important health decisions. This role involves drawing high-quality blood samples and preparing specimens for lab testing according to established procedures. The Phlebotomist III- Float must create a trustworthy environment, explaining procedures clearly and performing blood draws skillfully, safely, and accurately.
This position requires providing coverage across multiple locations and roles, including Patient Service Centers, Mobile units, Long Term Care, and In-Office Phlebotomy, ensuring daily activities are completed accurately and timely. The Phlebotomist III- Float demonstrates leadership behaviors, focusing on process excellence while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy of patient information.
Successful candidates may lead and direct daily activities, act as coaches, mentors, instructors, and serve as a resource for new employees and clients. They may work with high-complexity and high-volume practices, requiring excellent customer service, communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills across various functions such as Sales, Laboratory Testing, IT, Billing, and Logistics. The ability to handle multiple priorities in a high-volume setting is essential.
