Job summary

MultiCare Health System is looking for an enthusiastic Patient Services Representative to support Lab Services. You will handle patient registration and order entry, perform phlebotomy, and process specimens at the assigned location.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, MA-Certification or MA-Phlebotomy eligibility, and phlebotomy training or experience; strong public-facing skills are preferred for this role.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Current Medical Assistant-Certified, Medical Assistant-Phlebotomy Certification, or Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist eligible - must complete the training and submit application within 90 days of hire.
• Completion of phlebotomy course or training preferred.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Previous experience dealing with the public preferred.

Responsibilities

• Patient registration and order entry.
• Phlebotomy and specimen processing.
• Specimen pick-up, report sorting and delivery, supply delivery and related tasks.
