Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform daily phlebotomy duties per standards and director guidance.
• Collect specimens, verify patient identity, label specimens, and perform EKGs if trained.
• Handle difficult draws and document deviations in the system.
• Prioritize stats and routine orders and nursing home collections.
• Maintain phlebotomy supplies and keep tray organized.
• Monitor and use computer system for batches, requisitions, labels.
• Maintain professionalism and patient confidentiality.
• Communicate with patients and staff following scripting and service norms.
• Provide age-appropriate care and comply with safety policies.
• Be punctual and adhere to attendance.
