Position Summary:

The Outpatient Technician interacts with patients and healthcare providers to collect, transport, and process blood and other body fluids from a diverse patient population. The role includes performing EKG procedures in conjunction with the Department of Cardiology, participating in educational and training activities, and performing routine administrative and technical functions as needed.

Requirements:

• Completion of an approved training program in phlebotomy or equivalent education/experience.
• In-house training for EKG functions will be provided.

• Experience performing similar duties (preferred: 1 year).
• Good typing skills.
