Job summary

Patient First in Sterling, VA is seeking a Medical Assistant with phlebotomy responsibilities. You will locate patients, obtain vital signs, perform phlebotomy, and assist physicians and nurses with patient care in a fast-paced center.

Requirements include a high school diploma and at least 1 year of clinical experience; lifting up to 50 pounds may be required. This is a full-time, on-site role with comprehensive benefits and shift flexibility.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of clinical experience in a hospital or physician’s office preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Locate patients and obtain accurate vital signs.
• Perform phlebotomy and basic lab duties.
• Prepare patients for physicals and medical treatment by Physicians and Nurses.
• Maintain sterile instruments and clean treatment area.
• Assist Nurses and Physicians with patient care.
