Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs proper specimen collection (blood and non-blood) with patient prep, labeling, handling, and transport.
• Collects and processes patient data and test orders into the LIS/HIS, including ABN compliance.
• Prepares and processes specimens per established guidelines.
• Maintains a safe, clean work environment and follows infection-control policies.
• Performs waived tests and assists other testing platforms with oversight.
• Participates in quality control and performance improvement activities.
