Job summary

University Hospitals Pain Management is seeking a laboratory support professional to perform specimen procurement and processing. This role provides essential lab support functions and aligns with an established career ladder, with pay and title based on education and experience.

Responsibilities include organizing tasks to meet turnaround times, performing data entry and phlebotomy where required, and processing specimens for testing. Compliance with PHI and department policies is required.

Qualifications

• Experience or exposure to specimen collection or processing.
• Ability to perform accurate computer data entry and sterile technique.

Responsibilities

• Organizes and performs tasks efficiently to meet departmental turnaround time standards.
• Performs computer data entry, laboratory processes including sterile technique, aliquoting and/or phlebotomy
• Processes specimens for laboratory testing.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Complies with all policies and standards and safely maintains PHI.
