Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Laboratory Support Technician (LST III) to join the provider care team. The role supports reports, data and scheduling in the laboratory, ensuring accurate, timely laboratory support and excellent customer service in line with Mercy standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year phlebotomy or clinical laboratory experience.
• No active disciplinary actions or performance improvement plans.

Responsibilities

• Acquire specimens for laboratory testing using safe, accurate methods.
• Process, transport and refer laboratory specimens and reports as required.
• Assist technologists in appropriate test methods.
• Provide excellent customer service in line with Mercy standards.
