Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Laboratory Support Technician (LST II) to join the provider care team, supporting reports, data and scheduling in the laboratory. The role requires reliable specimen collection, strong customer service, and adherence to HIPAA and Mercy Service Standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 6 months phlebotomy or clinical laboratory experience or completion of a clinical training program.
• Must satisfactorily complete facility competencies to advance to the next level.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate, timely laboratory support for reports, data and scheduling.
• Skillfully acquire specimens for laboratory testing using safe, accurate methods.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and uphold Mercy Service Standards in all interactions.
