Mercy is seeking a dedicated Lab Support Technician I (Phlebotomy) to support providers and patients in our clinical laboratory. You will collect specimens, process and transport them, and assist with data entry and scheduling, while upholding Mercy's service standards.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, strong attention to detail, excellent customer service, and the ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Prior lab experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Skillfully obtain laboratory specimens using safe, accurate collection techniques.
• Ensure patient comfort and provide exceptional service during specimen collection.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and laboratory policies.
• Process, label, transport, and refer laboratory specimens as per procedures.
• Support laboratory reporting, data entry, and scheduling functions.
• Maintain accurate laboratory documentation and contribute to efficient workflow.
