Job summary

Clinical Laboratories of Hawaii, LLP in Aiea, Hawaii, is seeking a full-time phlebotomy technician. You will ensure proper collection, processing, routing, and storage of patient specimens, perform phlebotomy as needed, and uphold safety, privacy, and quality standards in a clinical laboratory environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to operate general laboratory equipment, including telephones, computers, centrifuges, and audible alarms.

Responsibilities

• Perform a vital part of the patient care process by making sure laboratory specimens are appropriately collected (including phlebotomy), processed, prepared, routed, and stored
• Recognize when corrective action is needed and implement effective solutions
• Work in a laboratory environment with biological hazards and PPE requirements.
• Champion safety, compliance, and quality control
