Job summary

SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital is seeking a Phlebotomy Assistant to support the Pathology laboratory. The role involves phlebotomy, specimen processing, transport, posting and billing in a fast-paced care environment while ensuring accurate labeling and timely reporting.

Responsibilities include collecting specimens, maintaining patient identification accuracy, and supporting pathologists and laboratory staff.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates specimen collection to minimize patient discomfort and delays.
• Ensures compliance with lab policies and safety procedures.
