Job summary

Spring View Hospital in Lebanon, Kentucky is seeking a Laboratory Assistant (Phlebotomy) on a PRN basis. You will perform venipuncture, sample collection and processing, and provide customer service to patients and nursing staff.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma preferred.
• Phlebotomy Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and specimen collection according to procedures.
• Verify patient identity using two identifiers prior to collections.
• Label specimens with date/time and collector initials ensuring integrity.
• Conduct urine drug screens and breath alcohol testing per policy.
• Coordinate collections with nursing to align with dosing and timing.
• Maintain inventory and assist with weekly lab supplies.
