Job summary

Maury Regional Health is seeking a Laboratory Assistant for the LHC Lab at Lewis Health Center on a PRN schedule from 7:30am to 6:00pm.

You will assist with specimen collection, handling and processing under routine supervision and respond to inquiries from clients and staff.

Preferred candidates hold a high school diploma and 1 year hospital lab experience; phlebotomy certification in Tennessee is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent Preferred.
• 1 Year Laboratory Experience in a Hospital or similar setting Preferred.
• 1 Year Laboratory Central Processing Preferred.
• Certified Phlebotomist Tennessee Preferred.

• Functions under routine supervision to perform specimen collection, handling and processing tasks; receive and respond to client inquiries and requests.
