Job summary

NORTH EAST MEDICAL SERVICES in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Lab Assistant I to perform phlebotomy and reception duties, with a Monday–Wednesday schedule from 8am to 5pm. The role requires accurate blood draws, patient greeting, and posting charges.

Qualifications include CPT-1 certification with Nevada, HS diploma, computer proficiency, and BLS. Familiarity with EPIC and MS Office is a plus; bilingual English/Chinese is valued.

Qualifications

• Current CPT-1 certification issued by the State of Nevada.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must be proficient in using computers and basic software.
• Experience in a medical or lab setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of EPIC and MS Office is a plus.
• Current Basic Life Support documentation is required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients, review lab orders, post charges and collect payments.
• Perform phlebotomy with accuracy and timeliness.
• Explain proper sample collection for urine, sputum, feces or semen.
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager/supervisor.
