Job summary

Spring Valley Hospital is seeking a Phlebotomy/Lab Assistant to perform venipunctures and specimen collections with moderate supervision. The role supports the hospital's clinical lab operations in a fast-paced environment in Southern Nevada.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma (or equivalent), phlebotomy training, and certification; NV licensure may be required within six months. Prior experience as lab/ER tech, LPN, or paramedic with phlebotomy skills is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; phlebotomy training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification required upon hire; NV licensure within 6 months if national cert.
• Experience as lab assistant/phlebotomist/ER tech/LPN/paramedic with phlebotomy skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs venipunctures and specimen collections under moderate supervision.
• Follows testing and collection requirements and maintains accurate records.
