Job summary

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• PBT (ASCP) or equivalent certification preferred.
• Immunization against Hepatitis B required or proof of immunity.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties in a professional and courteous manner.
• Observe students and/or new staff as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle on-call duties as assigned.
• Document critical communication such as call-ins in the absence of a supervisor.
• Provide accurate patient and sample handling information.
