Job summary

HCA HealthONE Swedish is hiring a Phlebotomy Laboratory Assistant to perform venipuncture and specimen collection across patient ages from newborn to geriatric. You will process tests, chart results, and support department procedures in a busy clinical setting.

The role requires phlebotomy certification preferred, a high school diploma or better, and 1–2 years healthcare phlebotomy experience or completion of a formal class. No travel is required.

Qualifications

• Licensure/Certification/Registration: Phlebotomy certification preferred
• Education: High school diploma or better
• Experience: Healthcare experience as a Phlebotomist, 1–2 years preferred and/or completion of formal phlebotomy class preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs technical venipuncture and capillary puncture; collects and processes specimens for various ages.
• Maintains proficiency in department procedures and communicates with healthcare professionals and patients.
• Performs function verification of equipment and supports clerical duties as needed.
