Responsibilities

• Obtain blood specimens from patients of all ages by venipuncture, finger stick, and heel stick.
• Adhere to patient safety goals and proper patient identification.
• Maintain accurate specimen labeling, processing and data entry.
• Distribute specimens to appropriate departments for analysis.
• Maintain phlebotomy area and inventory; assist with trainings.
