• BLS certification within 30 days of hire is required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and collect venous and capillary blood specimens per SOP.
• Transport specimens from off-site facilities or drive Riverview provided vehicle when needed.
• Enter test orders in LIS and track specimen status; ensure proper labeling and data accuracy.
• Prepare specimens for testing and referral, verify requisitions for accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain supply levels and assist with staff training as needed.
