Job summary

Temecula Valley Hospital, part of Universal Health Services, seeks a Phlebotomist to perform routine and STAT blood collection and specimen processing for all laboratory testing. You will conduct preventive equipment checks and assist in maintaining supplies and inventory to ensure smooth operations.

Ideal candidates hold basic phlebotomy certification in California, a high school diploma, and current BLS; previous clinical laboratory experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Basic phlebotomy skills with certificate.
• Ability to perform routine and STAT blood collection.
• Sufficient technical knowledge to support the lab needs.
• Verbal and written communication to transfer data.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and STAT blood collection and specimen processing.
• Conduct preventive maintenance of equipment and monitor conditions.
• Maintain phlebotomy supplies and inventory.
