Job summary

Responsibilities include operating a centrifuge, preparing samples for reference lab sendouts, and maintaining courteous communication with patients, staff and physicians.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years acute hospital phlebotomy experience.
• CPR and Phlebotomy certification/registration required.

Responsibilities

• Collect blood samples from patients of all ages.
• Perform front and back office procedures, processing specimens and data entry.
• Operate centrifuge and prepare samples for reference lab shipments.
• Communicate courteously with patients, staff and clinicians.
