Job summary

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, and CPR certification, with preferred Medical Assistant or Phlebotomy certification. English communication and strong customer service are essential. This position offers a stable day-to-day rhythm in a rural hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical Assistant or Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• Current BLS CPR certification required.
• English communication skills essential; additional languages preferred.
• Strong customer service and basic computer skills expected.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipunctures and capillary/skin punctures efficiently and correctly.
• Understand test requirements and assist the Clinical Laboratory as needed.
• Collect specimens for blood cultures, bleeding time testing, and routine blood samples.
• Complete patient/specimen registration in line with hospital policy.
