Job summary

Ohio School of Phlebotomy is seeking a Phlebotomy Instructor to deliver classroom and hands-on training in an onsite setting. You will prepare lectures, lead labs, and assess student progress while following state-approved curricula.

The role emphasizes flexible scheduling with classes offered weekdays and weekends across morning, afternoon, and evening sessions. Prior teaching experience is not required, and a supportive environment fosters student growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant field experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Authorized to work in the US.
• Previous teaching experience is not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and lecture on specified content utilizing the school’s textbook.
• Administer academic and skills assessments according to the syllabus.
• Lead hands‑on skills labs, including skill demonstration and student feedback.
• Maintain accurate student records and paperwork including attendance, notes on student progress and conduct in class, and recording and reporting of grades.
• Complete tasks required by the beginning of a class session including handling of student payments and accepting of student documentation.
• Follow the curriculum, as set by the Ohio School of Phlebotomy and approved by the state in which the school is located.
